Abyss of addictions.
Italian experimental guitarist Enrico Merlin plays on this one. He's a fine historian of afro-american and Rock music, artistic event organiser, one of the top World biographer of Miles Davis, with tens of publications (both music and books). The final guitar solos intertwining at the end of the song and then conveying into the famous be-bop theme of “My Favourite Things” is one the highest point of Freestanding album. Lyrics deal with human carelessness; fear of falling into the maze of addictions again. Everything is lost in the ripples of fate, hazard is behind the corner but a way out is finally possible.
